SYNOPSIS
Join the Shakespeare City Players as they rehearse for the most important competition of the year.  Could their new, mysterious benefactors ensure victory in the Amdram Association of Shakespeare finals?  Can the slightly demented director  ‘tame’ all group members?  Will the competition result in a comedy of errors or a midsummer night’s dream?
...because in the end ‘the play’s the thing’...

Damian Howells from The Training of the Shrews by Amaline Theatre CompanyP1012527

DAMIAN
'Wales' answer to Richard Burton' - South Wales Echo
This is the first time Damian, 28,  has turned his hand to acting since being considered for the role of the Milky Bar Kid at 10 years of age and getting down to the final two. On that occasion, mercifully, they went another way, meaning he has avoided becoming typecast / mentally ill.
Damian claims to have enjoyed every minute of his Amaline experience, despite frequent lateness, bad attitude and surly demeanour. Seeing it as a welcome respite from daily number crunching at his finance job with the Welsh Assembly. He hopes to work with them again in the future - if invited back.
A mathematical prodigy, he once proved that Pi is exactly 3 and spends most of his free time composing a 5 hour musical based on Pythagoras' theorem called 'Hypotenuse'.
Has also spent some time on the set of Dr. Who, after walking on accidentally over Cardiff Bay - 'the TARDIS is massive inside' he confirms.
Strengths: Accounts
Weaknesses: Eczema
